Food intolerances can contribute to a diverse range of conditions, from migraines to eczema to irritable bowel syndrome. I use the Food Detective test to check for possible intolerances to 59 of the most common problematic foods including wheat, cows milk, egg and nuts. The test is an ELISA test (enzyme linked immunosorbant assay) which highlights reactions between proteins in food and IgG antibodies in the blood. It is a simple pin-prick blood test providing results within 60 minutes.
If a more specific in-depth test is required I can offer Food Print testing which checks for reactions against up to 200 foods. Vegetarian Food Print tests are also available for those on a strict vegetarian diet.
